To build muscle you have got to fast track nutrients to your cells during the workout. That way you’ll get the energy you need to keep training hard and to repair your cells. They will then be able to grow back bigger and stronger.
No2 Vital claims to have the power to speed up the nutrient supply process by acting as a vasodilater of the veins. This allows more nutrients to get into the cell quicker. As a result your workouts are more productive and you build muscle faster. But does it work?
What is NO2 Vital?
NO2 Vital is a nitric oxide booster.
Working in tandem with your workouts, a nitric oxide booster will be a great aid in bringing out the vascular pop of your muscles. You take a nitric oxide booster just before your workout. Using a good nitric oxide product helps to increase the blood flow into the muscle, to engorge the arteries and the veins with blood. Nitric oxide does this by opening up the arteries. This is great during the workout. It also trains the veins to be more pronounced.
Nitric oxide boosters also greatly increase the body’s ability to get muscle building nutrients into the muscle cell. They do this by widening the veins so they can carry more nutrients. This is especially important when you are working out and depleting the energy stores within the muscle cell.
What are the Ingredients?
The NO2 Vital website lists the following ingredients for NO2 Vital:
- Magnesium Stearate
- Microcrystalline Cellulose
The manufacturers give no indication of the dosage amounts of these products, nor do they provide any studies or other scientific backing to show that these ingredients work to boost nitric oxide production. This means that you can have no confidence that this product will actually do what it claims to.
The recommended dosages for arginine and citrulline to produce nitric oxide boosting benefits is about 5 gram per day. Judging but the size of the capsules, it is highly doubtful that those quantities are contained in this product.
The website provides virtually no information about this product.
Does it Work?
No2 Viral might work. But, prior to purchasing it, we have no way of knowing. It does contain a couple of ingredients that have been shown to help improve nitric oxide production. However, until we find out what quantities these ingredients (arginine and citrulline) are provided in, it is impossible to say whether it will have a vasodilation effect on the body. A vital amino acid, glutamine, has not been included, which is a shame as this would have worked well with arginine to boost the nitric oxide levels in the body.
How Much Does It Cost?
No2 Viral is one more in a long line of shady online supplements that use the bait and hook method of offering a ‘free trail’ which actually costs a few bucks in order to secure your credit card details and then locking you into a 12 month contract which gouges your account every month. In this case, the free trial will cost you $5.95, which is the ‘shipping cost.’ You’ll get a sample bottle of the product sent to you. Two weeks later your credit card will be billed the full price of $79.95. Every month thereafter, you will be charged $79.95 plus $5.95 for shipping. This will go on for a full 12 months.
You will receive a bottle of NO2 Viral every month as part of this subscription.
