What is It?
Nuviante is a hair regrowth product that has been getting some very positive endorsements online. A whole host of affiliate websites claim that Nuviante is a breakthrough in hair restoration. We thought it was about time that an unbiased review was done on this product.
Nuviante comes in a gel capsule format and is sold in a 60 capsule bottle. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules per day. Each capsule contains –
Rosemary extract – Rosemary has long been used to treat hair loss. While the medical community have found no scientific evidence to support its use, it continues to be a popularly used asa stimulant, tonic and restorative.
Amino acids – the amino acid keratin makes up about 88% of each strand of hair on your body. Other aminos such as arginine, cysteine, cystine, methionine and lysine are also important contributors to hair health
Biotin – this B-complex vitamin has been seen as the trigger to hair growth for decades. Yet there are o studies to back the claim. In fact, too much biotin can be detrimental to your health, even speeding up hair loss!
Marine polysaccharide – these are meant to restore weakened hair follicles and encourage hair growth. Marine polysaccharides are commonly found in seaweed.
Several other vitamins and minerals are included in the product. All ingredients and naturally sourced.
What Does it Claim?
Nuviante claims to be able to:
Restore damaged hair
Reduce hair loss
Make existing hair thicker and stronger
Induce new hair growth
These are huge claims for a nutritional supplement to make. We were very interested to see what scientific evidence supported these claims. Unfortunately there wasn’t much to look at.
Where’s The Evidence?
The Nuviante marketing page points to certain supplements as the basis for the amazing hair restoration claims on the site. Specifically they claim that:
- B7 will trigger new cell growth period.
- Vitamin B6 nourishes his cells and encourages growth. It is also claimed that B6 relieves itchiness on the scalp.
- The natural extract horse-tail is claimed to improve the sheen and texture of here and also promote hair growth.
- It is claimed that can PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid) reduce grayness of hair.
These ingredients have been studied rigorously for decades and many studies have been done on them. Unfortunately, Nuviante don’t reference any studies at all in support of these claims. This is disappointing and a red flag on this product.
Another red flag emerges with the claim by Nuviante that their product regenerates hair. There have, to date, been no studies done that show that any natural ingredients produce this effect. While many marketing companies make wild claims about miraculous hair regrowth with the use of natural herbs and remedies, they generally fail to offer any hard evidence to back up their claims.
Nuviante, however, claim that they have mountains of scientific evidence to substantiate the claims that they make. In fact, they state on the marketing page that Nuviante has been subjected to rigorous clinical testing.
Yet try as we might, we could not find any links to any research done on this product. We searched the internet independently of the marketing page and still could not find anything to substantiate the claims that have been made about Nuviante. Needless to say this hardly filled us with confidence about this product.
